I am so happy! :D For myself, for my friends, for the whole cohort, for doing so well, even better than last year, and breaking the record for the percentage of distinctions! These results were of course not achievable without all those tears, all those stress and all the great and wonderful teachers! Today was indeed a nerve-wrecking day, going to school at 7.25 and then playing bridge in the canteen to distract ourselves, and then the misleading announcement over the PA system about our results that saw me breaking down in front of Melissa. But she managed to stop the waterworks. Then Bex, Wessa and Jasmine stoned in the hall. Fell asleep for a while while watching the graduation video. Then the results flew past very quickly. Broke down again. Had no idea why. Overjoyed? Perhaps. But I don't think that's entirely the case.
Anyway, our school is on the news! :D Yay. Grey batch rocks. Thanks to the 4 10 A1s people. We made history.
One more thing, I don't know if I should say this, but for those who didn't get what they had expected to get, don't be sad yar? Life still goes on and whatever happens, just accept it and move on. It takes time to get over the sadness, but when you do, you will realise that all these are just little obstacles in your path. Cheer up.
