Been trying really hard to practise my speech after the OP filming on Thursday. Same problem arose. Unclear diction + weak enunciation = lousy pronounciation. I just don't understand why I have this speech problem. Speak too much Chinese at home? Other Chinese-speaking people don't seem to have this problem. Tongue too short? Nah. I can extend it beyond my teeth. :/ Too much saliva. Nope. At least I don't spit when I talk. Must be my teeth then. Maloccusion. I want braces!! Uhm, okay not now.
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttt. Please don't give me weird looks when I start talking with exaggerated "t"s, "d"s and "k"s.
Anyway today was relatively fun. :D Went hunting for Rachel's birthday present in town. Spent aeons in
Creative Hands because we couldn't decide which type of clay we wanted to get. Taka has this cool shop selling Halloween stuff. Gross but cool, ya know? All the Goosebumps-like masks, skeletons, broken hand imitations, broomsticks(Cleansweep lookalikes), Witch hat and loads of other things. Too bad there's OP on that day. Otherwise I would gladly go trick-or-treating!
