The first full day of the year was spent in band. Adjustments to our parts and incessant reminders about the pieces. There's no more
Einzugsgalloppe. It doesn't make much difference to me since I was supposed to play only a few bars of that song anyway. Then bubble-wrapping our instruments and people queueing for the scotch tape that doesn't stick. Ooooo! New York is really drawing near! Somehow it still feels like a dream. Some mornings I would wake up and wonder if I am really going to New York, then I would see bandits smiling everywhere, my classmates harping on the fact that I get to miss one week of school and it's like a confirmation that I am going! There's still a biggggg luggage to pack and 18 hours of flight before I officially breath in New York air, 2 degrees and all. ((:
Finally gotten my hair cut. At this chic-looking but cheap place right below my flat. This Gavin person attended to me. Kept asking me questions throughout, reminds me of *******. He commented on my ugly hair and kept asking me to rebond, and that I was too quiet. =.= He got a real shock when he realised that I was only 17, said I looked twenties. Like okay. Don't know whether to take it as a compliment or not.
Ahhh. I think I strained my calf muscle while doing salsa yeaterday. It hurts damn badly when I stretch it. :/
