Gosh, today's such a mad mad rush. It all started with Johnson setting off the alarm that investiture is tomorrow and my jaw literally hit the ground coz I haven't prepared the section stuff at all. Gone was the focus on the remaining Econs lecture and Econs tutorial and I was busily plotting how to get all the stuff done in time with training and the video filming. Oooh touched the saxophone in more than a month and I sounded blehhhhh - even a sec one sounds better. 6 years of playing skills gone down the drain like that. ^.^ The filming was funny but I suppose it will appear nostalgic tomorrow. It overshot and I was super duper late for training. Then the rush to training in which I was trying to master the reverse kick. O.o Sounds so fancy but it's hell difficult to do! Especially for a person who has zilch sense of balance like me. And I have one more day to master it before grading on Sunday. Then hitched a ride from Yizhen's mum to Tampines Mall to make the stuff and I was practically pleading with the shopkeeper to get those done today. Lucky she's an ultra nice person and even helped me make them look nicer! The long bus ride just sapped the rest of my energy. How I wish I can ignore tutorials for now. Then it will lead to a vicious cycle of me trying to catch up and not completing current tutorials etc.
Anyway I am super proud of myself as I managed to get all the stuff made, even though they don't look professional. What can you expect from a 40 minute design? And thank goodness for wonderful friends who all pitched in to help, Kai for springing up the colour pencils, LiHwa for staying back to help with the design and Yizhen for lending me money and asking her mum to let me hitch a ride. (:
Am happy too coz I got my first A in JC, although it came a tad too late, and my results so far were not as bad as i had expected. Oops, did I just jinx it? Oh whatever.
