I think the Singapore education system has seriously failed to install the right skills in our generation. Skills that are ultimately relevant when everybody leaves school and are no longer sheltered by protective teachers and parents, such as being able to weigh the pros and cons without the influence of skilled persuasive speakers and knowing yourself fully. How many people are there shooting blindly in the dark when applying for temporary jobs, just accepting whatever that seems lucrative at first? Growing up is a chore. Y`know, sometimes I wished that revolutionary people such as Einstein and Bill Gates were never borned so that human beings would not be trapped in this endless cycle of polishing their competitive edge and fighting to climb up the corporate ladder and earn big bucks. I agree there's the intangible side to all these, the experience gained, self-actualization and gaining trust from the people who have sheltered you from all the storms in life. It just depends on how quickly you want to achieve all these isn't it? Whether you want to make a major leap and risk almost all that you have - money, faith, confidence, trust- at one go, or you go step by step. I don't have that much confidence in me to leap ahead and walk the untrodden path and as much as people believe in me, it will be essential for me to believe in myself first. Im really sorry for all the inconvenience caused.

Life has started looking up after more than a month of aimless administrative work. Loads of activities to replace my CCAs and keep me busy. :) I would live the remianing six, seven months to the fullest.
