An observation on the train amused me today. Two women were heading towards this unoccupied seat, both of them trying not to hurry and look like typical Singaporean aunties but walking fast enough to try and get the seat before the other. This woman got there first and the other one gave her this hostile scowl before turning away in a rather ungracious manner. And the one who got that seat gave this self-satisfied smirk when she saw the other woman's expression. I almost burst out laughing. XD
And oh I can't believe I
cried. I feel like such a baby. It has been what, 2 years? Some things that I should be happy about despite everything gloomy:
1. I finally have my own phone to use. A damn hip one too. (: Goodbye phone which dropped into my bowl of noodles.
2. Yuyang didn't sulk at all during today's tuition! (: Im beginning to see his adorable side.
3. I got a dinner treat today!
If only there's always a silver lining behind every dark cloud.
